VIII - Finance
Section
1. Dues
Dues and payment thereof for the New Hampshire Association of
Nurse Anesthetists shall be as are stipulated in the Bylaws
of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
Section
2. Assembly Dues
This association as a member of the New England Assembly of
Nurse Anesthetists shall pay to that Assembly the per capita
dues as stipulated in the Rules of the New England Assembly.
Section
3. Fiscal Year
The fiscal year of the New Hampshire Association of Nurse Anesthetists
shall date from the first day in October to the last day of
September.
Section
4. AANA Withholding Funds
The Board may, at its discretion, authorize the AANA to withhold
funds from annual dues revenue, on a continuing annual basis,
to finance scholarships, loans, or other appropriate activities.
The intent of this section is to remove the need for annual
Board action on special matters which by their nature are long
term or permanent.

5. NHANA Legal Defense Fund
The Legal Defense Fund will be established to assist CRNA’s
by defraying expenses associated with legal defense and/or the
costs incurred in the protection of CRNA practice. The treasurer
shall have the authority to disburse funds from said reserve
account upon such terms and conditions as may be approved by
two-thirds of the directors present at any duly noticed meeting
of the directors.
Article
IX - Parliamentary Authority
Robert's Rules of Order Revised shall be the authority for this
association unless otherwise specified in the Bylaws.
Article
X - Amendments
These Bylaws may be amended at an annual or regular meeting
of this association by a quorum of the association members voting,
provided notice of the proposed amendment has been appended
and E-mailed or mailed prior to the date thereof.
